Special Applications

A considerable part of our product range consists of special items which cannot be assigned to the categories mentioned so far. Special machinery is required for the production of specific products. For example, we would like to point out our Jacquard looms for the interweaving of names or logos, which we use for some special applications. Other special applications for our webbing include: Bags and rucksack accessories, special applications in the automotive sector, webbing for prostheses, the forestry and wood industry and mattress production, to name but a few.

Disposable Protective Mask

In order to meet the increased need for safety, also in everyday life, we have decided to include respiratory masks in our product range. We remain true to our company principles with regard to quality. In our own state-tested and certified production facility, we manufacture disposable 3-layer protective masks in various colors as well as KN95 masks. For individual color ideas, please contact our sales department in Germany.

Edge Protection

For some time now, we have also been offering our own edge protection rails and awnings. Our edge protection rails are made of high quality, black coloured regranulate. So we contribute a small part to conserving the resources, but still deliver the required quality. The Oppermann edge protection products are more than capable of meeting all requirements.

Printed Webbing

For the QMS webbing as well as other printed webbing, the technical we use a technique called “dye sublimation”. The benefit of this system allows for very intricate multi coloured designs to be permanently embedded into the fabric, giving excellent properties for wash fastness and rub fastness that cannot be achieved by other printing methods such as screen print.

Our inhouse design studio will work with your ideas or specific artwork to create a design, which can give your products market impact and a leading edge over your competitors.

As well as traditional printing methods, we have digital printing facilities, allowing the design to be uploaded to a state of the art digital printing machine.

The digital printing method is ideal for short runs, less than 1000m or when the requirement for larger text and image spacing cannot be achieved with the traditional printing methods.

We have many years’ experience in printing, giving our customers reassurance of high quality, repeatability of colour and design solutions to help capture a target market with a specific design or theme.

Woven Ropes

The concept of the “woven rope” has been around for a number of years, however, some divisions of the Oppermann Group, has been fine tuning the process in order to incorporate more exotic yarns such as HMPE, Dyneema® but also steel wire in very bespoke applications.

Some of the advantages over conventional rope manufacturing are lower elongation, increase in strength and speed of manufacturing.
